Dr. Bryan Becker, a leader in chronic kidney disease and value-based care and the current President of Acclaim Multi-Specialty group, has joined the Advisory Board of AvoM a company empowering clinicians with point-of-care, decision-making software and evidence-based medicine.  Dr. Becker brings nearly 25 years of experience in value-based care, population health, care quality, and nephrology to the team.

Prior to Acclaim, Dr. Becker served as the Chief Medical Officer for DaVita Integrated Kidney Care. In this role, he created and implemented a playbook of care for high-risk, high-need patients across multiple US markets and helped drive improvements in quality of care, outcomes, patient engagement, team engagement, revenue growth, and a reduction in unnecessary medical spend with innovations.

Prior to working with DaVita, Dr. Becker led the nephrology group at the University of Wisconsin where he assisted in developing Wisconsin Dialysis, Inc. and was president of the University of Chicago Medicine Care Network, comprising over 1,000 physicians. He also held the position of vice president of clinical integration and associate dean for clinical affairs at the University of Chicago Medicine.

Dr. Becker joins Avo as the company accelerates its efforts to bring expert, society-based guidelines to the bedside, particularly in the chronic disease kidney space. Recent partnerships with Kidney Disease Improving Global Outcomes and other leading medical societies, such as the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, underscore these efforts.

Avo Cofounder and CEO, Dr. Yair Saperstein, commented: “Dr. Becker's guidance, experience, and relationships in the chronic kidney disease space and leadership in value-based care arrangements is immensely valuable to Avo, and will ultimately help our company succeed in these crucial arenas."
